Sugar Creek Assisted Living

We hold a worship service for the residents of Sugar Creek the fourth Sunday of each month at 4 PM. We sing, pray, share a message and simply have a good time together. This is a wonderful way to be an encouraging presence and make a friend in the process.

Crestview Nursing Home

This worship service is held at 10:30 AM on the second Friday of each month for the residents of Crestview. We sing, pray, share a message and join together for communion. This is always an incredible time for the residents as well as those from the church.

Prayer Shawl

A group of women in the church craft prayer shawls for people in the hospital, those who have suffered a loss in their families and newborns. This is a vital caring ministry and provides much comfort to the recipients of the shawls. We pray over the shawls and recipients in worship before they are given out. We invite you to join this ministry and make a difference in the lives of those who are comforted by them.

Backpack Club

This ministry began over 10 years ago by the Youth of our church. It continues today as a community ministry provided food for weekend meals for children of Haywood County.

Scouting

Each Monday at 6:30 PM, our campus is filled with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts! These groups are part of the children and youth ministry of FUMC.

Sports

From Children’s Basketball Leagues (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) in the winter to Adult Basketball (Mondays) to Pickleball, there is something for everyone. Contact us for updated sports information.
